Sandy Hill Preschool provides childcare from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. This is after the morning sessions and before the afternoon sessions. Lunch Bunch will run from September to April.
The “Lunch Bunch” meets in the large room upstairs to eat their lunch. “Lunch Bunch” is manned by preschool staff members.
Our primary goals of this program are to teach your children:
(ex: ½ sandwich first, apple slices second, cookies last)

How to open all their food/drink containers

To finish their lunch in a timely manner prior to “recess” time
The children eat their lunch and play. There may be some planned activities, but not to the extent of a regular preschool session. There is no scheduled “nap” or rest time. Parents provide a packed lunch and drink for each of their children. Lunch boxes should be clearly labeled, as well as, coats, buckets and other belongings.
“Lunch Bunch” Costs and Guidelines:

Child must be registered in a preschool program at Sandy Hill Preschool.

$180.00 per child, per day of the week for the 20 week session.

There are 1-2 built in make up days for scheduling conflicts with class field trips.

Registration may not be shared between two children.
Class runs from September to April for a total of 20 weeks.
Lunch Bunch is NOT peanut free. For the safety of children with peanut allergies, we are sorry to say those children with peanut allergies will not be permitted to register for this add-on class. “Lunch Bunch” follows all the policies and procedures as stated in the Sandy Hill Preschool Handbook.
